Fall and Holiday Peek
Within the next few days I’ll be posting the new fall and winter/holiday collection. For my fall collection my inspiration came from the idea of simplicity, but uniqueness and how to infuse both of those ideas. Loving the way geometric shapes look I found a way to blend into something simple with a bit different. I’m completely addicted to things that are textured. It gives a little edge to something that’s modern.
As for the Holiday collection I wanted something more shimmery, but still with a little modern edge. I decided to try out using pyrite, also know as fool’s gold. It has such a shimmer to it that I love, plus I think it looks great against the antique brushed brass.

Mother’s Day is less than one month away. I don’t know about you, but I think there is much to be said about personalized gifts. It becomes one of those keepsake items that you actually want to hold onto. It also shows that thought and love were put into whatever the personalized item is. The term “City Slicker” usually doesn’t depict the nicest images when used, but I’m re-inventing the meaning into something more positive. Through my eyes when I hear the term the words that come to mind are “Edgy” “Upbeat” “Fast Paced” and “Night Owl.” As a matter of fact if I had a vision of what a City Slicker looked like this is what I’d envision. She stands out, but can blend in whenever she wants!

Are You A Huge Fan of Valentine’s Day?
I wouldn’t consider myself a “HUGE” fan. I know some people are probably thinking…REALLY? It’s true, I was never the girl that “needed” to be taken out to dinner every year on the 14th of February. If you want to buy me flowers, buy them for my birthday in April when the cost of them are significantly lower! However, I’m not a party pooper and for me I love to see people go out and celebrate the “Day of Love.” What I do like to see are the creative ways that people show their “love” for their partner or spouse. There’s something that’s so special about “Personalized Love.” Tailoring something or an idea specifically to a person’s interest, taste or likes is AWESOME. For instance, if your mate likes tea maybe try creating a tea blend with his/her favorite flavors in a personalized package, similarly to Honeysuckle Tea Company or Adagio Teas .
This Valentine’s Day the jewelry piece I’ve created falls right into the “Personalized Love” category.
