Breast Cancer Awareness Month..Shop PINK!

PINK Glory Ring-$22 for Gold & Bronze and $30 Sterling Silver

In honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ve brought back the Pink Glory rings.  Previous years’ proceeds from the sale of this ring have gone to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  However, this year 50% of sales from the Pink Glory ring will be donated to TheWitness Project of Connecticut. As breast cancer survivors themselves, this organization is a team of trained Lay Health Advisors who advocate the importance of early detection.  They accomplish their mission by:

· Addressing barriers to screening and coordinating free and low cost breast screenings and mammograms for women who are underinsured or not insured

· Educating women in various organizations, senior centers, churches, public housing, health centers and incarceration on breast cancer

· Conducting hundreds of health education programs on breast cancer

Let’s help these dynamic women continue to help other women.  For the entire month of October the Pink Gloryring will be available on our Etsy site. Rings are available wire settings of gold brass, sterling silver or bronzed copper.  Help us to achieve our goal of selling 30 rings this month.

How Often to Relist on Etsy?

I think this is one of the most frequently asked questions from sellers on Etsy, “How often should you re-list?”  Well in my opinion that depends on you and you shop’s peak activity.  Many see relisting as a form of advertising or promoting.  It is only 20 cents to renew and list items, but how often is too often.

Every month I download the csv file of my Etsy bill to see what items have been purchased and which ones have been renewed.  It becomes cumbersome to go through each item to see how many times an item has been relisted and compare it to other months that same item has been relisted.  Basically, I need a way to keep track of the profitability of items sold or not sold easier.  For instance,  I listed this ring in June for $28, since then it’s been renewed at least 3 times.  Lets say it doesn’t sell until August, but it  is relisted this month twice.  I can add up in my head that the cost of relisting this item is $1.00, but how do I keep track of this for over 40 items.  In a nutshell, if there’s anyone that can help me come up with an excel formula for this, where I can just drop my monthly Etsy bill into an Excel sheet and it’ll automate..I OWE YOU BIG TIME

Fashion’s Night Out

Making Shopping Fun Again

If Fashion’s Night Out is taking place in your city this is definitely an event you will not want to miss.  While employing millions of people worldwide and bringing in billions of dollars, the fashion industry wouldn’t be a success without you—THE SHOPPER.  On September 10^th, NYC will be hosting its Fashion’s Night Out.  What does this mean?
