Customize For Your Customer

Custom orders for jewelry pieces has been a great opportunity for me.  I would say that about 50% of my sales come from customers who see my work and request a special order.  Before designing pieces I always find out a little information about the customer as far as personality traits, favorite colors, places they love to visit and etc;  Jewelry not alone adds spice to a person’s outfit, but it also tells you a lot about a person.  Here are a few custom pieces that I current designed for one of my customers.  What do you think their personality traits are based on these pieces???

Etsy Store of the Week

Stephanie Sweater-$70

My pick for the “Etsy Store of the Week,” is Isla Luna.  Based out of New York City this college graduate is really in it for the long haul with her amazingly cute designs.  One of my favorite items in her Etsy Store is the pictured Stephanie sweater.  I particularly love the gold toned punk studs along the edge of the sweater.  The sweater is available in various colors.  She also has really adorning skirts.  Check out her store, Isla Luna.

QVC tapped Isaac Mizrahi

Yep it looks like the fashion diva himself will have a new show on QVC.  Looks like the station has had a dip in sales (but then again who hasn’t), so they tapped Isaac Mizrahi to help boost their sales.  If you’ve seen The Fashion Show, you know that Isaac is without a doubt entertaining.  Lets see how it works on QVC.

I’ve been on a hiatus for bit, but I’m back now!  Kicking off this wonderful week is our Jewelry Feature of the Week.  Since I had a fabulous time off, this week’s feature is the Fabulous pearl bangle.    This fabulous shiny turquoise beaded glass bangle gives off a pearlized look wrapped with gold brass wire. Beads are approx 13mm in size.  Will make a perfect finishing touch accessory.
